tab·ula rasa
noun
an absence of preconceived ideas or predetermined goals; a clean slate;
the human mind, especially at birth, viewed as having no innate ideas.
Summer is slowly turning as autumn patiently lingers around the corner; my days are full of the remnants of sunlight.
Shifting along with the seasons, I sync my heart to earth’s rhythms, allowing myself to ebb. Time feels limitless when breathing with the elders.
I am embracing a blank state; there is much to learn from the stillness surrounding me.
When spring comes, I will be born again- rooted deeply, but flowing freely.
